Week in Chess Magazine". The best if we want to download recent games. Every Monday TWIC publishes a compilation of the most important games played during the past week arround the world. Several formats are supported, including PGN of course.
The viewer reads directly the downloaded zip files containing games in PGN format. Besides, just by clicking the button those games are automatically downloaded, keeping track of current and previous downloads. (From version 1.5.75). In the tab "Various" of the configuration options you can check the last issue of TWIC magazine that you have downloaded. That value can be manually modified to download again previous issues if necessary. By default, the viewer starts downloading from issue 400. As of today, the TWIC servers keep previous issues starting at the 200th issue.
Once you download and read a new game's file, a useful function is to be able to sort the games by any of the colums in the listing, by just clicking with the mouse on the header of any column. If you click with the right mouse button, the cursor moves to the first line that contains a different value than the previously selected inside the column where you clicked.
